Industry Institute Interaction Cell

The Industry Institute Interaction Cell (IIIC) acts as a liaison between academic institutions and industries, facilitating collaboration, skill enhancement, and career opportunities for students. It organizes industrial visits, guest lectures, and workshops to provide students with exposure to real-world industry practices. By aligning academic curriculum with industry needs, promoting research projects, and fostering technology transfer, it enhances student employability and promotes innovation. Through its efforts, the IIIC plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between academia and industries, contributing to the overall development of students and the economy.

IIIC will strengthen the linkages with the industry and research organizations. IIIC will train our students in collaboration with the industries professionally in the state of art technology areas to meeting the specific needs of industry in order to make them fully employable.

Objectives of the Cell 

  1. Foster partnerships and relationships between academic institutions and industries to promote mutual growth and development.
  1. Provide students with exposure to industry practices, training, and skill development opportunities to enhance their employability and readiness for the workforce.
  1. Encourage collaborative research projects between academia and industries to foster innovation, technological advancements, and solve industry-relevant problems.
  1. Assist students in securing internships and placements by connecting them with industry partners and organizing recruitment drives.
  1. Support and nurture entrepreneurial ventures among students by providing guidance, mentorship, and access to resources.
  1. Align academic curriculum with industry needs and requirements to ensure that students are equipped with relevant knowledge and skills.
  1. Gather feedback from industries regarding the performance and preparedness of students, and use it to improve educational programs and curriculum.
  1. Organize events such as seminars, conferences, and workshops to promote dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange between academia and industries.
  1. Facilitate the transfer of technology, knowledge, and research outcomes between academic institutions and industries to promote innovation and commercialization.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF IIIC

The responsibilities are to coordinate with heads of the Department for the following industry related interaction

  • Workshops, Conferences involving industry personnel.
  • Industrial/Visits for faculty and students.
