E-Governance has been implemented in Nehru Institute of Information Technology and Management (NIITM) to enhance the transparency and to have the complete database.E-Governance is the digital integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in all the standard process of the institute. The primary objective of e-governance is to bring transparency and to enhance the effectiveness of the working structure. The secondary objectives are to enhance the access to information to the needy and to do analysis for Decision Making.
1. Administration
I-campuz software having the modules for entering administration details like joining date, reliving date, promotion date, etc. The campus is fully equipped with CCTV cameras installed all around to monitor the activities. The Campus is a Wi-Fi enabled campus with speed internet.
2. Finance and Accounts
Our institute having finance and accounts module in ERP for transparent functioning of Finance and Accounts department. This software will enhance the accuracy in financial transactions and ease the financial interpretations.
3. Student Admission and Support
NIITM e-governance practice supports to maintain the details of students like profile, registration, transfer details, attendance of the student, class allocation, lesson plan, delivery plan, internal assessment marks, etc. It also used as the repository for the student learning materials. The same is used for assignments, quiz, students’ feedback, important notice, reports and communication.
4. Examination
As an Anna University affiliated college, it adopt the Anna University Portal for the examinations. Apart from that our adopted ERP i-campuz having the provision to enter and maintain internal assessment mark for the students and equipped with all the necessary equipment like Desktop Computer, Internet Facilities, Printers etc.
