The Nehru Institute of Information Technology and Management upholds the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) as a mandatory framework, necessitating adherence to rules and regulations for the institution’s smooth operation. The ICC serves as the primary in-house body for lodging complaints related to individuals, institutional matters, or any other concerns. It plays a crucial role in aligning with Government Acts and ensuring the fulfillment of its objectives.
The primary functions of the Internal Complaints Committee encompass the implementation of policies addressing the prevention of sexual harassment, ragging, narcotic issues, and grievances. In accordance with directives from central and state government authorities and guidelines derived from Supreme Court judgments pertaining to institutional workplace complaints, the institution has duly established an Internal Complaint Committee.
