MESSAGE FROM HOD, MBA
NIITM is a proud pioneer B-School. It has a reservoir of knowledge and expertise in the highest realm of learning in management. NIITM offers two years non-resident programme Master of Business Administration (MBA) strikes an innovative balance between theory and practice of management. The four semesters of course work impart a sound knowledge and analytic skills. This programme provides 4 weeks summer internship at the end of second semester and Project work in the final semester.
Friendly atmosphere, informal and interest group interactions of faculty and students create a unique learning experience that generates both breadth and depth to the personalized learning process. The outgoing students are confident of having had the best of management education. In the recent past the college has grown significantly in strength with the infrastructure, the computer laboratory, Entrepreneurs Development Cell (EDC) and the core faculty strength. The college facilitates cross-cultural experiences among students of Kerala and Tamil nadu state. The student’s communities are taught to choose Entrepreneurship as their career.
Research and Research Centre and COKE are constantly our endeavor to use these advantages and build a strong foundation in the coming years to have alumni as pillars. At NIITM, we are very receptive to ideas and build on them and implement in a manner of excellence. NIITM strongly believes in forging long-term relationship with the business world as well as our students.

Welcome to the Department of Computer Applications at NIITM Coimbatore. We started our journey in the year of 2007. Over the past one decade, we have grown our expertise and competence in the core Computer Applications curriculum and research. The primary focus of our curriculum is to impart technical know-how to students, promote their problem solving skills and innovation of new technologies. The very motto of our department is to provide quality education. The process of learning is extremely important in life. What you learn, how you learn and where you learn play a crucial role in developing ones intellectual capability, besides career.
The excellent infrastructure, teaching faculty of the best kind ensuring quality education such as interaction among students, parents and staff, along with a Training and Placement Cell ensures a bright future to its students. Thus we are confident that our Students will emerge as assets not only to this Institution and to the organization they belong, but also to the country at large.
