Objectives

• Raise awareness among students about the negative consequences of ragging, emphasizing the importance of mutual respect and a supportive campus culture.
• Foster a culture of respect empathy, and tolerance, where every student feels valued and accepted without the fear of harassment.
• Develop and enforce comprehensive policies against ragging, outlining the consequences for those involved in such activities.
• Encourage the reporting of ragging incidents by implementing an anonymous reporting mechanism, ensuring that students feel safe and supported when reporting such incidents.
• Take prompt and fair action against those found guilty of ragging, in accordance with established policies and legal guidelines.
• Establish support systems for victims, including counseling services, to help them cope with the emotional and psychological effects of ragging.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and legal authorities to ensure that legal actions are taken against individuals involved in severe ragging cases.
• Facilitate activities and events that promote inclusivity, teamwork, and positive interactions among students, contributing to a strong sense of community.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of anti-ragging measures and policies, seeking feedback from students and stakeholders, and making necessary improvements to the system.
