These cells provide vital academic and financial assistance to SC/ST students. This helps them to overcome barriers to education and succeed in their studies. The cell address grievances related to discrimination and ensure a fair and inclusive campus environment. SC/ST cells ensure that colleges comply with government policies, advocating for the rights of these communities and contributing to their overall upliftment. Through their dedicated efforts, SC/ST cells play a crucial role in creating a more inclusive, supportive, and equitable educational landscape.

Objectives

Provide academic support, counselling, and mentorship to help SC/ST students excel in their studies.
Serve as a platform for addressing and resolving grievances related to discrimination, harassment, or any form of unfair treatment against SC/ST students.
Facilitate access to scholarships, stipends, and other financial aids to support the economic needs of SC/ST students.
Promote a diverse, inclusive, and respectful campus environment that values and supports students from SC/ST communities.
Organize workshops, seminars, and cultural events to raise awareness about the issues faced by SC/ST students and celebrate their heritage.
Advocate for the rights and interests of SC/ST students within the institution and ensure compliance with relevant government policies and regulations.
